The difference between dreams and goals

This is one of my favourite things to talk about because most people confuse the two.

We've heard it said before that a dream is just a dream, but a goal is a dream with a deadline.

There's another difference between the two and this is it:

Do you want to do something (dream) or are you willing to do it? Example - I want to lose weight but am I willing to do what it takes to get there?

Do you see the difference?

So many people want lots of things in life - better health, weight, fitness, money, time, increased productivity but they're not willing to do what it takes to get there.

I read an excellent article similiar to this blog post on Chris Widener's site. It's called Seven “Have-to’s” to Achieve Personal Growth

Enjoy and have a good weekend.
