Readers' organising tips

One of my favourite organising tips is to only use clear plastic containers for storage. This way you can see exactly what's stored in each container and the likelihood of food going off in the fridge is slim.

What is your favourite tip?

Organically grown fruits and veggies have a much longer shelf life than those grown otherwise... :)~ ...and they are better for you!

Spray a little of your favourite perfume on the light bulb – as good if not better than any air freshener.

A good habit I found working for me, is to put things back in its place when done using it. That way you always know where it is and do not have to waste time looking for it and you don't have to clean up at the end of the week with things laying around.

E.g. pack the shoes that you wore today, in the shoe box, in the cupboard, otherwise Friday you have 5 pairs to pack away.

Empty toilet roll tubes are handy for holding all those cables we seem to collect in this technical age. They are easy to write on too so that you know what belongs to what.
